"Every single person with cancer has a PH level that is to acidic"
- Dr Otto Warburg, Nobel prize winner and the man who discovered the real cause of cancer.
What are Alkaline Foods
You may be thinking what are alkaline foods? food is food right?..Wrong!! All the food you eat has an effect on the acid and alkaline balance in our bodies and in turn determines our health. The measure of this balance is determined by your PH level which tells you whether your bodies tissues and body fluids are alkaline or acidic. A healthy body is considered to be healthy and alkaline if you have a PH level of 7.0 or above on a rang 0-10 and a pH level of 4.5 being very acidic and unhealthy.
So whether we are eating foods that are acidic or alkaline while determine our pH levels and like many people, diets often fluctuate between healthy and unhealthy which, of course, causes our pH levels to fluctuate. When your body fluctuates towards the more acidic end of the scale your body will immediately begin to exhibit symptoms of an imbalance in the body. An acidic environment promotes the growth of bad bacteria, yeast and fungi. The imbalance of your body's good bacteria makes you more prone to getting infections. These symptoms may be considered minor health problems like a cold, skin problems, IBS or fatigue to name just a few. but they are actually early warning signs that your body may be too acidic and you need to add more alkaline foods to your diet. While external life factors such as stress, exposure to germs and contaminants etc may also contribute to causing these health problems, your going to be better equipped to prevent or recover from them if your body is in a more alkaline state.
A major reason to eat more alkaline foods and obtain an alkaline body state is that your likely to reduce your risk for developing cancer. When the body is too acidic, oxygen levels are lowered and cellular metabolism stops which can lead to the growth of cancer cells. Maintaining an alkaline state helps encourage healthy cell turnover, which is key in the prevention of cancer.
Eating more fruits and vegetables will make your body more alkaline, while processed foods, sugar, refined carbohydrates and alcohol will make your body more acidic. By eating more alkalizing foods, you are more likely to obtain and maintain a healthy weight and a health life. Frequent consumption of acid-producing foods is more likely to contribute to weight and health problems such as obesity and diabetes.
