The “Gift from God”
Chaga is a hard mushroom that grows on Birch trees, feeding on its life force and nutrients making it bio-available to humans. Unlike most mushrooms, Chaga is hard , almost like wood and grows on living trees making it completely unique.
Chaga is the most nutritionally dense of all tree growths and has been used by many civilizations to support health for thousands of years. Although it's fairly unknown in Western Civilizations, Chaga commands an exceptional status. This incredible tree growth is known by the Siberians as the "gift from god" or the "mushroom of immortality". While the the Japanese refer to it as "The diamond of the forest" and the Chinese call it "The king of plants", high praise indeed from a culture renowned for their immense history with plants.
Chaga is powerful, because it contains the nutrients—the force of actual living trees. Because of their special, biologically potent substances, trees live long, far longer than herbs. Some even live as long as 10,000 years or more. They are the most powerful living beings in the world. Concentrating this power, Chaga contains numerous B vitamins, flavonoids, phenols, minerals, and enzymes. It is also one of the . It also contains riboflavin and niacin in significant amounts. Chaga is also the world’s densest sources of pantothenic acid which is needed by the adrenal glands and digestive organs. Its most potent ingredient however is a special substance known as superoxide dismutase (SOD). This is an enzyme with great potency and its function is to halt oxidation, especially the toxicity of a free radical known as singlet oxygen. This is the type of oxygen which is responsible for oxidizing and damaging the tissues, which results in aging. Ancient Chinese regarded it as a longevity factor .

How to consume Chaga?
There are three main product groups when it comes to Buying Chaga; Dual Extract (either in capsule, tablet or powder form), Raw Powder/Tea Bags and Dried Chunks.
The major advantage of Chaga Extract over other forms of Chaga is that you receive all the healthy benefits of BOTH the water-soluble AND non-water soluble bio-active ingredients.
With Raw Powder/Tea Bags and Dried Chunks, you can only get the water-soluble ingredients. Chaga powder is simply chunks ground down, and in some cases with extra ingredients added such as birch bark and oregano. The powder can be used to make Chaga tea (via loose tea or tea bags) or a tincture.
Dried chunks are just raw harvested Chaga broken into chunks and then dried. Dried chunks can be used to make Chaga tea or a tincture.
